Thank you for your interest in writing a post! Please fill out the following information:

Your idea

Please describe the post you'd like to write in 2–4 sentences, and how that post would be a good match for The A11Y Project.

Charts are becoming more interactive for mouse users, but there's no defined standard for what the keyboard equivalents should be. What's left is charting libraries coming up with their own interactions, and everyone's is wildly different.

Outline (optional)

Optionally include a proposed outline for the post.

  1. We want keyboard interactions for charts, but there's no standard
  2. How different libraries are solving the problem
  3. Questions that a standard should be able to answer

Additional information (optional)

Is there anything else we should know?
