In #910, all places of worship with religion=christian were rendered with an icon containing a cross. However, some Christian denominations do not use crosses as part of their symbology, including fairly prominent religions in the US like LDS and Jehovah's Witnesses. It would be more appropriate to render these separately from other Christian church POIs, either with a neutral icon or, since these are common American religions, with their own unique symbol. Carto does the former, rendering these two as well as two other denominations (Iglesia ni Cristo and La Luz del Mundo) with a generic place of worship symbol.
A possible symbol for LDS places of worship could be an angel with a trumpet, a common finial on temples. Jehovah's Witnesses typically eschew symbols, so a unique symbol may be trickier. A common motif on Kingdom Halls are the JW logo, so perhaps a JW on top of the square could work? Ideas from those more familiar with these faiths than me is very welcome/needed here.
This change is currently blocked by OpenMapTiles, which does not surface denomination values in the tiles that would allow us to differentiate these places of worship from other Christian denominations.
