Is a FrankWolfe variant without active set, see this paper https://proceedings.neurips.cc/paper/2016/hash/daca41214b39c5dc66674d09081940f0-Abstract.html .

Since they don't maintain an active set we probably have to adapt quite a bit of code, especially concerning the branching.
