I want to use my own data to train the model. Can I not use the given model?

Maybe the problem is "how to preprocess a custom midi file collected from Pop909 or anywhere"?
Because I randomly choose a POP909 midi file as the prompt to generate new music with the provided REMI checkpoint, it failed.
