When I try to load a tour I've saved in my "Community" folder, I get the following blank popup:

Well ... it looks like Microsoft has finally deactivated the (extremely old) endpoint we were using for Communities authentication, so as far as I can tell it's basically not going to be possible for us to keep the Communities service running with personalization features.

There's no reason we can't keep on making existing public content available at its existing URLs, though, so things that are live on the public web will keep working. Basically we can keep Communities going in a read-only mode.

And the content itself all still exists, of course. So, for instance, I could send you a tarball of all of your Communities files if you'd like.

For hosting image content in a way that integrates with the WWT web services, our new recommendation is the Constellations framework (e.g. https://worldwidetelescope.org/@pkgw/). This is built on modern OAuth and cloud services and is something that we can actually maintain going forward.

So my question for you is, with all of the above, do you have any workflows that involved Communities that you're not sure how to keep running? If so, I'll do my best to set up a smooth migration path.

I don't have any workflows involving communities, I was just trying to find ways to save state & save tours.

Could you point me to the documentation for the Constellations framework?

Sorry, I'll have to get back to you about that after I write it ... :shame:
