In Solar System view, when you are zoomed far out, the Sun is represented by a yellow dot. When you zoom in close enough to display the image of the Sun, it is orange. This transition may be confusing for students, and I recommend that we match the color of the distant Sun dot to the Sun image. (Most of the planet dots don't completely match either, but those at least match the colors of their orbit paths, so I think that is less confusing).
