Live notifications

hi, thanks for this great add-on!
would it be possible to block "live notifications" (i.e. when you are browsing fb and someone likes something you shared and a tooltip pops up in the bottom left corner + notification counter in the top right corner updates)?

The way the add-on is currently designed, it's not possible to stop the notification number from updating. The add-on can't actually see what the notifications are that are coming in, it can only see them once the notification panel is open.

As for the live notification updates in the bottom corner, this was certainly possible at one point and it's how the add-on used to work. However, if I remember correctly, when they changed the Facebook design, they stopped labelling live notifications in a way that the add-on can tell if it's a like notification.

Regardless, I'll take a look into both and see if there's a viable option to add the functionality to the add-on.
