Revert "quickfix for opf bug" This reverts commit 878f42d620208c745a9bb22f8d735ca15c17eaee.

The "bug" (that absolute paths were used) was fixed in opf dashboard version 1.5.7. Running the update of any version later than this eliminates all occurrences of the absolute paths in the database. The prerequisite: those paths are still correct. When migrating an older installation to a different server may require to edit the paths and urls manually - or you upgrade first and migrate the installation afterwards to a new hoster.

If there should still be cases in which the mechanism doesn't work, the workaround is to uninstall and re-install opf dashboard, which requires to comment out this line in its info.php like this: // $module_level = 'core';

menu_link: add redirection type "200" In fact, do not redirect the browser to this page but change the page_id under the hood and start processing that page. This is similar to the section picker, but not only for a single section but for the whole page.

This is useful for large websites where one page may fit into several categories, and you want to show it at several places in the menu. The other redirect types let the browser jump into a different path of the page_tree. This one just adds a new page with the same content elsewhere.

ensure that the database tables are created during update process (#409) under some conditions it may have happened that not all tables were created correctly, so we explicitly call the statements directly from the update script. Note that we still keep the mechanism in dbsession: it also alters tables if the encoding is not the preferred one. We also keep the checks on the required tables in the update script in case anything went wrong with creating the tables. The 'drop table' statements are moved into a separate file, just as a precautious measure not to lose data in case someone changes the call to the sql import in the future and makes a silly mistake. Not to have the drops in the same file is really an easy change and it can prevent us and our users from so much trouble.

implement better brute force protection we allow 3 failures from a single client ip now. After that we block for an increasing time span with each wrong attempt. We store that in the database because an attacker could easily spawn many sessions, so the session is not a good place to keep track of this. After the blocking time is over we allow another login attempt, but if it fails, we further increase the blocking time. After twice the blocking time we reset the attempts. Also, banned ips are cleared from the database after one week, hoping that brute force attacks are stopped by authorities in this time frame.

add function is_countable() as a polyfill for environments with PHP < 7.3.0 (#357) After this issue came up in this thread: https://forum.wbce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=20226#p20226 I decided to implement this function into functions.php so it's ready to go, as checking with is_array() won't always do.

This function will be implemented in PHP since version 7.3.0. This polyfill function will allow the use of this function also on environments with a PHP lower than 7.3.0 see also: http://php.net/manual/en/function.is-countable.php

Added class for mimtype, file extension conversion. Class mimeConvert , converts mimtypes to file extension conversion and vice versa.

This was needed as elFinder expects mimetypes and WBCE still uses file extensions. As many modern scripts expect mimetypes i implemented this in the core.

Direct output pipe for all situations Especially important , it clears all buffers.

I extended class wb to offer a direct output pipe for modules/templates and even for the core. This is especial usefulll for Javascript ajax requests and JSON replies.

If you call

$admin->DirectOutput("ANTON AUS TIROL"); or in frontend $wb->DirectOutput("ANTON AUS TIROL");

It will output only "ANTON AUS TIROL" and stopp script execution immediately.

If you just set

$admin->sDirectOutput=""; or in frontend $wb->sDirectOutput="";

It will runn through full Page generation but still "ANTON AUS TIROL" Will be the only answer given back as page.

Added a new method for modules to add stuff to the main template(JS, CSS, HTML, META and more) Basicallly this is a extension to CSS to head , so modules, droplets, snipets and whatever can add small blocks to several places in the template.

In the First step a filter adds several placeholder to the template. Some are for moving content to this location some for easy replacement of some elements. If those placeholders are already present in the template they are not set once more. In general its far better to set those placeholders manually in your template. In addition you can define your own placeholders if you need to.

Quite a lot of changes to output filters

CSS to head was fixed.
CSS to head runns in backend now. Stefeks bakend droplets should be functional now. Droples may bring their own CSS definitions , by simply echo them. they are moved to head then by the filter.
ALL filters can be turned on and off . The horrible chaos of using binary flags for mail filter is replaced by simple constants. mdcr.js is loaded by the filter now , no more need to add this whith frontend modfiles. Prepared everything for a new JS to head filter.

Droplets in Backend From Now on its possible to use Droplets in then BE pages . Instead of [[yourdroplet]] you have to use [[[yourdroplet]]] As filtering for [[yourdroplet]] in the backend would replace all droplets in WYSIWYG fields for example.

  In addition the extra <p> tags created by many Editors are filtered out.
  <p>[[yourdroplet]]</p> will become

  [[yourdroplet]] again.

  Not sure if thats a goob idea but we will see.
  This is only done in FE display.

  Right now all droplets can be used as BE Droplets, but i guess not many
  reallly make sense.

  I really need to free Droplets from this silly eval , as this slows down

Loginform Autocomplete and Upgrade Script Small review of upgrade script especially issue #48 and a few other minor changes. Now using Settings::Set() instead of the function build into the script as it allows to not overwrite existing Settings.

Some security fixes on short URL short.php used to inject REQUEST_URI int SCRIPT_NAME and PHP_SELF.

Especially SCRIPT_NAME is normally considered save for self refering forms. So its not a good Idea to inject the complete unsave REQUEST_URI into it.

Now we filter REQUEST_URI to provide some sane and save values for shortened urls.

Captcha Controll now runns on Settings -> cleanup for Initialize.php Captcha controll was using its own DB table just to generate its Constants in a seperate script in Initialize.php right below the place where constants where created anyway if they use Settings class.

Captcha controll now uses settings class so i could remove that useless extra code. In addition i remove the non functional javascript in the interface. And did some changes so you can add captchas whitout changing captcha Controll. (the javascript preloader onlyloaded a static set of images) All new installed captchas should show up imediately.

Activated autoloader + Some cleanup in Initialize. Autoloader is now activated and available . And i did some cleanup to initialize.php Still there is lots of work to do.

The autoloader now loads most WB libraries on autopilot. /framework/ folder is searched and some includes are Set right now. Twig and PHP mailer load their own autoloader.

Add /config/ and /var/ folder to dir and installer for later use. Later we should move config.php to a folder as we avoid problems whith webroot being not writable. /var/ is needed for modules to store files that schould not be deleted when upgrading module(eg. templates).

Installation of new settings class As i tried to make a admin tool for setting of maintainance mode, i realized that there is nothing for easy management of WBs system settings. You still have to do it manually. But i remembered that some module where using some set_settings() get_settings() functions(e.g. jsadmin). So i did a deep thought an decided that it would be a good idea that the whole settings management would be a lot more fun it we got some dedicated functions to handle this. If we use constants we schould do it in a good and clean way, so i put a few lines together and would like to know if you got some more ideas i can put into this.

Adding a maintainance mode The Maintainance mode is activated by setting a constant in the config.php.

You can deactivate it by either deleting the line or by setting the mode to false.

The default template for maintainance mode can be found in /templates/system/maintainance.tpl.php

Any template can have a custom maintainance template placed in /templates/yourtemplate/system/maintainance.tpl.php

At this time the maintainance mode is limited to use the default template set in website options in the backend.

As a next step there will be an admintool that allows to set the mode from the backend.

Webadmin Filemnager Download from: https://gist.github.com/nic-o/1219610 as the original page (http://cker.name/webadmin/)had a disfunctional .zip file

I added this opensource filemanager to remove files from the webspace that have been added by websitebaker whith invalid file and directory permissions on a Server that uses PHP as Apache module.

On such a server it may happen that if you try to remove such files via FTP you may get a "insufficient permissions error". Thats because the files are created by the webserver under a user different from FTP user.

Just copy this filemanager into the webroot of your page and call:

www.yourdomain.com/webadmin.php

!!! ATTENTION !!! Please keep in mind that this admintool also can be abused as a hacking tool (indeed its a pretty good one, almost a hackershell) So please remove it after use or install it into a password protected directory (Its not necessary to install it into webroot). Please be really carefull!

Changed language file loading mechanism Now we load the default file (EN) and then we load the local(userdefined) file. That way even an incomplete Language file at least displays the english text instead of an error message.

Fixed IDKEY in Secureform I still had problems whith Security warnings on pages that used alot of IDKEYS. For example if i tried to move a field in the basic form module i had one Warning on in about 15 atempts.

Another Problem: unused old IDKEYS where never deleted so session got spammed by idkeys.

So i made a more unique ID, recursive checking for overlapping ids, added a tiemout for IDKEYS (same as for FTAN) and added a page parameter to instantly delete all keys from a pagecall if one is used.

Last thing i added is an additional parameter that allows the use of IDKEYS whith ajax scripts. If this setting is used, the key is not removed and can be used multiple times. (this is a small security risk but nothing compared to the 1 in 16 chance to guess the key that we had before. )

This is a patch from my old fork only tested on my local installation.

Its not a perfect solution as it uses the browser search function as a helper but i guess its far better than having no search at all. For Advanced Search it relies un the "user search" module , which is added too. (Version 0.41)
