Clarification on Usage of Portal URL or clientUrl in Strapi Plugin Comments

I am interested in implementing a feature in the Strapi Plugin Comments, specifically to inform commenters via email about replies. I understand this functionality has been discussed in Issue #139. However, I am not entirely clear on how to set it up in my project.

Could you provide some guidance or examples on how to configure the plugin to send email notifications to commenters when their comments receive replies? Details on setting up the Portal URL or clientUrl for this purpose would also be greatly appreciated.
