• that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

The Game doesn't Launch at first with proton, but if you launch the game the game with compatibility with "Native" first, and then go change back to launching with "Proton" the games does work fine.
I manage to make it work thanks to the comments in ProtonDB.

Reproduction

1. Change compatibility to "Native" (steam Linux Runtime) and launch the game. It should work install its custom launcher and launch fine to main menu.
2. Change compatibility back to last proton version and launch the game. It should work fine now. (may have to restart to install Paradox Custom launcher)
