Backlight of capacitive buttons does not work with Lineage 18.1 build

Since upgrading to Lineage 18.1 (using the files found here, the capacitive buttons left and right to the home key stopped.

In the system setting, they are set to illuminate (Settings > System > Buttons > Backlight) but just remain dark no matter what.

With my previous Lineage version provided by you (LineageOS 16.0), they worked as expected.

It's a small inconvenience, but I thought it might be worthwhile reporting.
