If I want it to mine like 30% when they are active, and 100% when afk #284

Then select 30% for the Max GPU (amount of GPU used normally) and 100% for the Idle GPU (GPU used when idle).

whats the best algorithm for eth mining?

Ethereum uses the Ethash algorithm so you can only use that.
