How to use the Plugin in a Mikrotik without Public IP

I have a question. I mounted a VPS in Digitalocean and there I installed the UNMS. I don't have a public IP on my mikrotik and the only way I found to connect the plugin to the mikrotik was through port forwarding on a vpn server. The Firewall rules are loaded and everything, but since I am connecting through port forwarding, obviously the gateway is not the same as the one of my network, but the one of the vpn server.
Is there a way to use the plugin with and use it in a mikrotik without Public IP?
