Streams always start in 480p. It would be nice if default was 1080p60 or source.

Actually I cant reproduce your problem.
Twitch Extension saves the last quality you selected just like the Youtube Extension does.
Perhaps you incorrectly close the PotPlayer?

It doesn't happen all the time. If I change it to 1080p60 then it saves it fine. But sometimes it randomly resets back to 480p. I'm certainly not setting it to 480p or anything like that.

You can see something like that WebVodLastTag= on your player's config file.
This variable is changing after play any online media. Example:

  • Playing a youtube video at 1080p60

  • WebVodLastTag=299 (299 equals 1080p60 for default youtube extension.)

  • Playing any broadcast (IPTV, Twitch, Stream etc) at best resolution

  • WebVodLastTag=1

If you play any broadcast after playing 1080p60 youtube video, your pre resolution will be lower like 480p. Because 299 equals lower resolution for nonYoutube contents.

So, PotPlayer's fault.
