Steps to reproduce on pixel 6 in 2.2.0-alpha.4:

  1. join a community with 2 channels from the home screen, tap on one
  2. go back to the homescreen
  3. tap on the same one

expected: channel opens as normal

actual: channel opens for a moment and quickly switches back to the homescreen even though I did not navigate back.

I'm not noticing this on my branch: #2499

I tried to reproduce this again and failed, so it's probably non-deterministic.

I also can't reproduce. I'm using an emulator but the behavior seems normal.

note: isla was able to reproduce this whenever there are images in a channel. let's see if we can reproduce it without the images bug. #2526

@holmesworcester I checked it on my Google Pixel 7 following your steps (and there are pictures in the channels), and everything worked fine. The version I used is prod 2.2.0. I haven't encountered this issue before, so I can't tell for sure that it's fixed, but if the whole trick was using images, and they are now fixed, it's most likely fixed.
