- (NSError *)attemptConnection;

doesn't work because it won't be recognized by xcode.

And the other attemptConnection function with the session pointer doesn't work either if you put self or session in!

Uhh. It's building fine for me in Xcode 9.1.

I might need a little more information folks. What's going on exactly?
