If the file begin with comment, browser shows raw instead of MD view

I'm in win10,firefox 47.0.

I find that most of markdown README file begin with

<!--Copyright info...

As the title said, when file begin with comment, the add-on will fail.

So the browser show the raw file, the plain text.

I think this may be a bug in the MD Parser。
