The current options are deleting messages on Telegram that were deleted on Discord or not deleting them. The first option is bad for moderation, because people might break the rules (e.g. insult others) and an hour later remove the evidence. The second option is bad for communication, because someone might write a message and delete it again rightaway, so that replying to it makes the Discord people wonder what you're talking about.
So I suggest a middle ground: Marking messages that are deleted on Discord with some indicator on Telegram. For example:
Username (deleted)
Message blabla
The setting could just be: bridges.<name>.discord.crossDeleteOnTelegram: mark
