I want to use redis as a third-party plugin for dns cache.

Redis for cache is in my to-do list but its not prioritized and will take some time. Its useful if you want to have multiple DNS servers share same cache. For standalone installations, its not much use though.

Do you have any specific use-case for which you need to have this feature?
