Why CodeGeeX does not work offline any longer?

Hi, and thanks to the CodeGeeX Team for their precious work.
I downloaded the models (I received an email with a link for the download) and I thought that it could work offline, because the model can be loaded locally.
But if I disable my connection to the Internet the extension reports an error, that the call to the API cannot be made.
Is there a fix for this?
