I have come across the following problem:
When making a call, I can see in the Asterisk log that the extension is ringing, however no call popup opens in the home assistant android app.

This also happens when I use browsers, whether chrome or edge on my smartphone.
When I use a desktop too.

It happens many times.
My intercom rings, but I can't answer it on my smartphone as the call popup doesn't open.

This will be fixed on the next release.

@damiaorocha the new update is released. Can you check if it works?

If it doesn't, check the Asterisk logs, and the browser console (F12).

This problem keeps happening. When I use the browser, whether on desktop or smartphone, the number of times it happens is less than when I use the app. It happens to hear the ringtone of the call but not to open the popup, it happens that neither opens the popup nor hears the ringtone, as well as it happens to open the popup call and it is not possible to hear the ringtone. The asterisk log says that the extension I am calling is ringing. I couldn't see the logs in the app or in the browser when I use my smartphone. In the browser logs on the desktop nothing happens, as if no call had been received.

Hmm.. Could be some weird caching issue.

Do you use the addon?

Could also be a mix of different issues. Maybe a codec issue on your phone? Do you use video?

Yes, I use the add-on. I don't use video, I use a camera for the intercom extension.

Hi,
in my case, the call is working,i can acceppt it and talk to the other device. The card is operating on the dashboard itself like every other card but it does not open a pop-up window like it did a few versions ago.

Is this feature still included? It would be very nice if the card opens in a pop-up window once there is an incoming call and a customizable size of this pop-up would be great.

Honestly i have no idea if this is possible. I've tried with the brower_mod integration but this doesn't work.

Nevertheless you created a great SIP card and integration for Home Assistant. Thumps UP!

Hi @Hoellenwesen, great you like it! 🙂

I removed the popup because there were some problems with it. A custom card can only access itself, which made the popup be not on the top layer, which caused problems like scrolling, the sidebar and topbar, and on mobile it was quite bad because of this. And I couldn't use the more_info function which is normally used for popups because of the very custom card. So that's why it's replaced with a in-card view which behaves much better, especially for mobile.

If you do want a bigger view, I did made it work in panel mode so it uses the full space.

Maybe the popup will come back as a option, but if I want it to behave somewhat good the HA frontend probably needs some changes for custom popups like that.

Hi @TECH7Fox, thanks for the explanation.

the in-card view is wokring very well, sometimes the ringtone is played twice at the same time, it's a bit strange :-) but if i reload the page the ringtone is played correctly. I think some sort of caching problem if two calls are coming in very close.

I will rework my dashboard to have a better use of the in-card view. I'm using it on a Wallpanel with Fully Kiosk to interact with my Dahua doorbell.

Sorry for the late reaction. Was very busy these last days.

I also noticed the issue where it sounds as the ringtone is being played multiple times. Guessing indeed also a cache issue when you reload the card by going away from and back to the dashboard.

Not sure how to fix something like this. Will keep this open for now.
