In v5.0.0 CodeGen was re-written using Synergy .NET and as a result is now only available on Windows. Of course you can generate code on Windows and take that code to other platforms, but the actual code generation must now take place on Windows.

If you REALLY need to run CodeGen on another Synergy platform then you can download and install the last traditional Synergy version for your system. But bear in mind that you will not have access to any features that have been introduced in recent versions.

The last version to support non-Windows systems was CodeGen 4.4.4.1 which you can download here.
