Ownership Transfer of Swinject Project to Faire

I am writing to inform you of my intention to transfer the ownership of the Swinject project to Faire Wholesale, Inc.

The project has been less active over the last few years, due in part to the ambiguous definition of the project owner. Initially, it seemed that I was the main owner since I initiated the project. However, as my role at work transitioned away from iOS app development, my involvement in the project decreased.

After careful consideration and discussion with @maxim-chipeev at Faire, I have decided to transfer the ownership to Faire. I am confident that this clear definition of ownership will facilitate decision-making, and Swinject will continue to be maintained and developed under the strong leadership of @maxim-chipeev.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the community for their support and contributions, which have helped evolve Swinject and promote the practice of dependency injection within iOS and Apple platform app development.

Impact on Your Projects

Your projects that depend on Swinject and other related libraries (e.g., SwinjectStoryboard) will not be affected by this ownership transfer due to the following reasons:

• License: We will retain the MIT License.
• Copyright Owner: The license notice will continue to list "Swinject Contributors" as the copyright owner.
• Project URL: The URL will remain https://github.com/Swinject.

Process to Transfer the Ownership to Faire

• @maxim-chipeev will create a pull request to update the README.md, informing that Faire is now the owner of the Swinject project.
• @yoichitgy will merge the pull request.
• @yoichitgy will keep this GitHub Issue open for a period of time to ensure visibility and will close it within six months.
