I thought It would be nice to have a way to see which other members wil be attending upcoming conferences. That might motivate more people to go (perhaps together even).

I was just thinking... If we incorporate joind.in in the usergroup, by registering the talks to provide easier feedback for speakers and the usergroup itself, we can integrate some of that information on the website as well.

And depending on the amount of usergroups on meetup in general, maybe we can integrate a field on joind.in to configure the Meetup userId, and crossmatch usergroup members with conferences.

I think the real question is, how much is joind.in willing to integrate with meetup.com, since it is not an open source project.

On the other hand, integrating joind.in on our usergroup is a nice first step.

I have no idea on the stance of joind.in on this idea though... Just food for thought.
