What feature should be added to Suwayomi?

We should to change our upstream/reference to Mihon now that it's established as the defacto successor to Tachiyomi.

Why/Project's Benefit/Existing Problem

  • We Always used Tachiyomi as a reference for implementation, compatibility and as a guideline to limit the scope of features that we will add to Suwayomi, As Tachiyomi is gone and even their github org has been deleted we need to replace it.
  • Syer's Tachiyomi-SY has also chosen Mihon as its upstream.

How should we describe Suwayomi now?

  • Don't change: "A rewrite of Tachiyomi for the Desktop"
  • Change to Mihon: "A rewrite of Mihon for the Desktop"
  • Double naming (for some time at least): "A rewrite of Tachiyomi/Mihon for the Desktop"
  • Better suggestion?

Tachiyomi is still a major player, I think only a portion of the userbase is moving to Mihon. So I feel like double naming is the best solution for now

double makes sense to me

Having been through this in a couple of previous projects where I contributed, another popular option would be
A rewrite of Mihon (Tachiyomi) for the Desktop

This says that you are now basing on Mihon, which is, itself, a modification of Tachiyomi
