Guide on using Markdown or HTML in styling the survey

Since I can use HTML to style my survey, could you provide the HTML guidelines. Would it be useful to use Markdown style instead?

I think the ability to use HTML is a stop-gap. We might disallow it in future once we have more features like embedded videos/photos, etc. There are serious security issues with allowing users to arbitrarily inject whatever they want (e.g., JavaScript).
