Kilosort-style binary file import

Is it possible to import binary files in the same format as are input to kilosort?
These are int16 .bin files

In the extractor documentation I see 'read_binary( )'

However this extractor does not appear to actually be included in the module.

Hi @adam-hockley

Since binary files are also used internally by SI, the read_binary() is directly implemented in spikeinterface.core.

So you can just do:

import spikeinterface as si

rec = si.read_binary(...)

Since binary is also a format per se, we also wanted tomake it available in the extractors module. However, we import the classes and not the functions (see here).

Thanks for noticing, we'll make a PR to make the function also available.
