Yes, the previous version in which this bug was not present was: 4.8.2.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior Version 4.8.2:

1. Go to "Import Object"
2. Choose a sample tex or picturet saved as .png file
3. Object is imported, background is white
4. Switch "Processing Mode" to Vector
5. Object is converted, backgraound white is transparent and text is filled black now.
   Expected bahaviour in 4.8.2 is correct.

Since 4.9.0 processing mode vector has an issue, See attached pictures.
