[Feature Request] Searching from multiple stores

Hi,
I have some stores (more than 1 store) from which I wanna do full text-search,
with limit and offset parameter in.
What we have now is a function able to search in one store only.
Is there any way how to use it for more than one store?
This search function is amazing,
and I believe it will be much more practical if we can use it to search text from more than one store at one time.
