I have successfully installed sane-backend on MacOs Ventura and my Network Scanner CLX-3305 works fine with scanimage and xsane with the xerox_mfp backend driver.

After compiling and installing Airsane on MacOS I have allowed the Network connection.
The webui works on localhost:8090, the scanner is also detected, but when I try to access it I get the error message "Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)"

Any idea?

You might need to play with your ipv6 network settings. I have been able to fix this issue by enabling ipv6 in my network.

Ok. I had disabled IPv6 in the CLX3305 config, I don't have full ipv6 in my network. only DNS and link local adresses. That did not work. I played around and I managed to crash the server -- it was not working after reboot. but in a certain intermediate config the error message disappered and the printer app showed a preview. I will continue to play around. Did I say I hate IPv6 ;-)
I am currently also setting up a small homeserver. So maybe I move the airprint to Linux, and see how it behaves from there
