Being redirected to broken links

When I open a utub link in my email I get redirected to many broken links.
I normally just substitute yewtu.be for whatever link came up.
I use yewtu.be nearly exclusively, at this point.
As things are now, the redirect link redirects again and when I substitute yewtu.be it goes to the popular page.

It almost does not work as-is after installation. The builtin list of sites is full of broken sites. Could the list to redirect be sourced from https://redirect.invidious.io?
