Friction and Adhesion are % from 0 to 1 (0-100%) of magnetism stickiness amount.
Adhesion is move stick, Friction is look stick.

this is true for all titles with these values as far as I know.

Feel free to resolve/close this without my regression.

Intuitively friction would mean how much the crosshair slows down when your aim hovers over an enemy.
Adhesion would be how much your aim sticks to them from their own movement related to yours.

By this logic friction is based on your aim, adhesion is based on how your position changes relative to your enemy.

This can be confusing though as in Halo 1 magnetism is only applied when either the movement or look sticks have non center values, or both.

I believe this is the case for all titles, though I haven't verified in-depth so, grain of salt
