The ability to organize Finale files in SheetAble would be monumentally helpful, and would make SheetAble appealing to a demographic of professional composers. I have a feeling that MakeMusic would limit what you can do with the format, but even as simple as being able to just store the raw file and adding a description would be a really good start.

I am fairly new to this topic, but would it not be better to use some sort of open standard. I found MusicXML and it apparently also has plugins for Finale.
There is also OpenSheetMusicDisplay which, if I understand correctly, is a typescript package to render MusicXML files on the web.
I recall MusicXML not doing such a good job, but I think the last time I tried it was about 15 years ago. I will do some testing with MusicXML tonight and see if it works. Thanks!
