Setup and configuration

  • MW version: 1.35.6
  • PHP version: 7.4.3
  • DB (MySQL etc.): 10.3.34-MariaDB-
  • SMW version: 4.0.1
  • SG version: 4.0
  • Lingo version: 3.1.1

Issue

I previously had SMW 3.2 and then wanted to upgrade to SMW 4.0 and got an error from composer.
The solution was to uninstall/remove the Semantic Glossary plugin.

 composer update --no-dev
Do not run Composer as root/super user! See https://getcomposer.org/root for details

Updating dependencies
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

  Problem 1
    - Installation request for mediawiki/semantic-glossary ~4.0 -> satisfiable by mediawiki/semantic-glossary[4.0.0].
    - mediawiki/semantic-glossary 4.0.0 requires mediawiki/semantic-media-wiki ^3.1|^3.2 -> satisfiable by mediawiki/semantic-media-wiki[3.1.0, 3.1.0-rc.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.1.5, 3.1.6, 3.1.x-dev, 3.2.0, 3.2.0-rc.1, 3.2.0-rc.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.2.x-dev] but these conflict with your requirements or minimum-stability.

Steps to reproduce the observation (recommendation is to use the sandbox):

please try dev-master instead of SG 4.0.0

I think it is about time that there is a new release.
