Description

There are times when I have 5-6 department filters, searching for a class that sounds interesting to me and that meets a specific degree requirement. Often times, I will then hear about another class that I want to look at. If that class is not within the departments I am filtering for, there will be no results shown.

e.g. I have filters for 18xxx 15xxx 16xxx 10xxx enabled and then hear about a class in 17xxx that sounds interesting. I type in the specific 17-772 number but it doesn't show up. I then have to clear out all the filters that I have enabled, or open a new browser tab or window and look for this class so that I can avoid clearing out my filters.

Anyone entering a full course number likely wants to see that course, regardless of what information they are filtering by. To make it clear that some filters are being broken, it could be worth adding an warning icon with a tooltip notifying the person specifically which filters are being violated to show this class.

This is up for discussion, but I find the current implementation really unintuitive.
