I ch bin mir nicht sicher ob ich es übersehen habe, aber kann man sich Krankmelden/Fehlzeiten eintragen?

Meiner Meinung nach geht das nur mit einem Lehrer Account. Man kann im Info Center im Tab Abwesenheiten sehen, ob am krankgemeldet wurde.

Bei mir in Untis gibt es dieses Menü in dem ich selber eine Abwesenheit melden kann. Wir sollen diese funktion nutzen. Damit die lehrer diese personen nicht unnötig aufrufen.

I agree that this would be a really useful feature.
There won't be any major feature updates for the 4.0.0 release but I will definitely keep this idea in mind for a future update.

EDIT:
Seems this already got addressed in this PR. I'll review and test it, maybe I can even add it to the 4.0.0 release :)

Some code added in #367 can be reused for this. First of all it is used to have more flexibility for the absences at the teacher side. (eg. a student comes 5 minutes to late, etc.)
