Welcome & Road to first release

ShoopDaLoop is unfinished and does not have an initial release yet. However, for enthusiasts it is already possible to download and install the software in several different ways. Read INSTALL.md in the main code repository for information about installation options.

I am curious for any feedback you have.

That being said, I would like to outline how I plan to make an initial release of ShoopDaLoop. It is already almost done in terms of the features I have in mind for a first release. It does need a lot of testing, bugfixing and polishing. For the first release, I would like to do some public announcements on popular music sw / tech forums. I will probably solicit donations from anyone who is excited, but the release would not depend on that.
