Newly created contacts on service cloud are not coming into commerce cloud #263

When i create a new contact in service cloud, the contact didn’t come in commerce cloud however when i create a customer in SFCC site, it is coming correctly into the service cloud.
What am i missing? Could anybody explain what is the issue?

Hi @zohaibshamas,

at the time you create a contact in service cloud, it doesn't yet have a connection to a particular instance nor customer list on the SFCC side (see B2CProcessContactHelper.cls for details). At this point in time it's also lacking the password individuals would need to log in. All this information is available when customers create their account in SFCC and it get sync'ed to the service cloud.
.. long story short, the current version of the repo doesn't support your scenario. Contributions are always welcome ;-)
