GTP Engine can't be synced to current state

I'm trying to use Katago with Sabaki on Mac. I downloaded Katago using the traditional homebrew way. However, I keep getting the "GTP Engine not synced" error message when I run Sabaki with the engine attached. I downloaded katago in the opt directory instead of the url one, as I see that many has. I am wondering if the error has anything to do with that.

Here are what I have:
/opt/homebrew/bin/katago
/opt/homebrew/Cellar/katago/1.14.0/share/katago/configs/gtp_example.cfg
/opt/homebrew/Cellar/katago/1.14.0/share/katago/g170e-b20c256x2-s5303129600-d1228401921.bin.gz

Hi - Did you figure out the solution? I am having this problem as well. My current settings in Sabaki is almost the same as yours, and I am also getting this "can't be synced" issue.
