Installation Instructions
*************************
To compile pcapfix you need GNU Make and GNU-C/C++.
Please check via 'make -v' whether you are using a proper version.
The result should show something similar to 'GNU Make 4.3' in its output.
Basic Installation
==================
1. Compile pcapfix with the following command:
make
2. Install the binary file
make install
The tool will be installed in /usr by default. To change this, edit
the $PREFIX variable in Makefile.
Uninstall
=========
To uninstall pcapfix just enter:
make uninstall
Microsoft Windows
=================
Compile pcapfix using cygwin:
gcc -c pcap.c -o pcap.o
gcc -c pcap_kuznet.c -o pcap_kuznet.o
gcc -c pcapng.c -o pcapng.o
gcc -c winfunc.c -o winfunc.o
gcc pcapfix.c pcap.o pcap_kuznet.c pcapng.o winfunc.o -l ws2_32 -o pcapfix.exe
