Inconsistent results when adding path variable #3207

I execute two queries on my RedisGraph and get an error.

Redis version:7.2.0
RedisGraph version: v2.12.10
operating system: windows 11
API：Cypher version 9

To create the graph:
graph.txt

To reproduce:
OPTIONAL MATCH ()-[]-(n0) CREATE () RETURN 1 AS a1;
OPTIONAL MATCH p=()-[]-(n0) CREATE () RETURN 1 AS a1;

The above two queries need to be executed separately on two databases.

I think these two queries are equivalent, but when adding “p=”, 66 new nodes are created, whereas in the first query there are 62 nodes created.
