how to remove docker container

[pbaetens]

on fedora inside docker container i try to run pigen, however when it fails it keeps existing and I cannot kill the container.

[root@linux-machien pi-gen]# docker kill pigen_work
Error response from daemon: Cannot kill container: pigen_work: tried to kill container, but did not receive an exit event
