Readers may confuse the milliard symbol (.) with the decimal symbol (,) in Portuguese. In fact, in English it is the other way around.
That is why it is better to refrain from using the milliard symbol in Science.
However, if, for any reason, you guys want to use milliard symbol even so, please use a simple blank space to separate milliards figures. (Only in markdown, not in the code!)
For instance, the speed of light should be written this way:
c = 299792458 m/s
or this way:
c = 299 792 458 m/s
rather than:
c = 299,792,458 m/s (English)
We should apply this to all the tables we have in the repository.
