Can the element DefiningPoints also contain a reference to a coordinate system/transform

We have a case of using a PointDefinedFeatureNominal element together with a DefiningPoints element but those points are defined in a different coordinate system to that of the feature and so we would like to be able to align the two. The ability to specify a coordinate system/ transform within the DefiningPoints element would be a useful addition.
