Should middleware be aware of whether a match was found or not?

I ran into an interesting issue where my middleware was running and trying to access values from the DI container although the route was 404ing, which resulted in an empty container (perhaps this is actually the issue here). That being said, it would be nice to be able to avoid unnecessary operations if we dont want to run those operations on 404s or other issues.

Possible outcomes:

• Add support for "Success Middleware" and "Failure Middleware" (not a fan of this one)
• Expose a property to middlewares indicating whether or not a match was found.
• Do nothing and document the current behavior.
