Hi, thank you so much for translating Calcpad. I can see that the work advances fast at least in Portuguese. But we will going to make this easy. @kaloyansarafov will move all strings out of the code to resource files. |

However, currently the software is not much prepared for localization and it will be difficult.

Then, you can translate them in table mode much easier without searching throughout the source code.
So, please hold a bit with the source code until we finish. For now, you can focus on the help files.

Hi! Great news today! We finally made Calcpad multilingual and ready for translation. All string were exported to resource files. Everything needed is available in this folder: English and Bulgarian packages are ready. I also created folders for Chinese and Portuguese. Each language folder has 3 subfolders: Html, Images and Resources. You have to translate the documentation (Html) and the strings used in the application (Resources). When ready, I will load them into the application and produce the images. All Calcpad documentation is in Html files. You can open them with any text editor like Notepad++. It is good to have support for syntax highlighting. You have to translate the text between the opening All strings in the application code are located in resource files. You can translate them by using some free resource editor like Zeta Resource Editor. Although resource files are Xml based and can be edited with a simple text editor, it is not convenient to do so. If you decide to do this anyway, translate the text inside the If you prefer to work with spreadsheets, I also exported the strings to an Excel file: You can add the translated texts in the respective column and post it back here or create a pull request. |

You can add the translated texts in the respective column and post it back here or create a pull request.
If any other languages are needed, I will add the respective folder. Contributors are very welcomed and highly appreciated.
We can use this discussion to coordinate further, or you can just write me an email.

@idealkindom, thank you so much for providing Chinese translation files. Is there anything else to add or change? Can I try to compile the Chinese version? As a next step, I can create a non-official release and post it here for testing purposes. |

I guess there is no more files needing translation. However, I pledge,if possible, say at convenience,could you also please compile a version with .Net 7 so it could be run on Win 7 PC, since in China many people are still working on Win 7 PC.
Of course, I have both Win 7 and Win 10 PC, so if provided, I will test both.

I expected this momnet for long.And I am learning C# by myself now. However, I am quite busy so not sure when I can contribute more to Calcpad. Still, I wish to see vector calculation soon, and I saw the vector file in your repository. So a dynamic index like for i=1:10 v_i=2*i+cos(i) etc. could come soon? So exciting.
Another view of point is maybe you could see another opensource program called NumeRe, which has been developed for ten years, especially for numerical manipulation. What's more, it has a strong plot module.

OK. Great! Thank you so much for your help. Then I will compile the Chinese .NET 7.0 version and post it here for review when ready. I will be very happy to have a Chinese version for Calcpad. :)

Hi guys!
After seeing this issue #179 i think it's a great idea to mantain a specific topic about translation of Calcpad and to put people that could contribute in touch.
Translation
There are three things to be translated:
Documentation - Html files:
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/blob/main/Calcpad.Wpf/help.html
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/blob/main/Calcpad.Wpf/readme.html
UI (User interface) - XAML files:
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/blob/main/Calcpad.Wpf/MainWindow.xaml
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/blob/main/Calcpad.Wpf/FindReplaceWindow.xaml
Program messages - C# files. Almost all of them are in this file:
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/blob/main/Calcpad.Core/Throw.cs
The translated messages should be in a separate section just like the Bulgarian texts (BG)
#elseif CH
//Chinese messages
#endif
