Hello, First of all congratulations for the development of the software. I liked Calcpad so much that I started studying C#. I would like to insert a calcpad sheet on my website, is it possible to do that? any instructions?

Yes, it is generally possible, as it is done already on https://calcpad.eu/. But to make it work, you need the cloud version of Calcpad behind to power the calculations. We plan in near future to develop an open web platform where everyone can make an account and share his/her own worksheets end even sell them through the platform.

Until then, there are two options:

1. To open an Web API CORS access on calcpad.eu. You will be able to call it from your site, pass the raw calcpad code and get the html result back. But you need to write your own code to to handle the rest - uploading, storing and displaying worksheets.

2. The other option is to host an entire Calcpad cloud/web app for you. It has its own admin interface to upload, edit, delete and organize your worksheets in a library.

This will require ASP.NET hosting to work and of course, you will have to pay for the hosting by your own. It is not necessary to be on Asure. There are many cheap alternatives, like Mochahost: https://www.mochahost.com/webhosting_windows.php. This hosting allows to host both php/Wordpress and ASP.NET core on one account.

Then you can simply embed the worksheets in your main site in a frame or simply put links there to the Calcpad site. If you put a common header on both sites, the user will barely notice the change.

The most appropriate solution depends on how your site is currently made and where it is hosted.

Both solutions sound a bit dificult for somebody who is just able to use wordpress and has some basic programming skills. I like the idea of solution 1 and thought about a wordpress plugin that can handle the integration. That could be a great success!

any update on this topic? It would be awesome if you would be able to write a wordpress plugin that could provide the API to calcpad.eu.

For me, it would be an awesome feature to provide certain calculations/calculators on my website.

What do you think? A wordpress plugin could reach out to a lot of users. I don't think something like that exists.

Currently, I cannot develop a Wordpress plug-in. I personally do not have any experience with Wordpress development. But we are working on the Calcpad cloud platform to make it accessible for users to share worksheets.

Hi! I cannot tell. It is a huge job and we are just 3 contributors working on Calcpad now in the free time. But the main focus now is to finish the vectors and matrices calculations.

If you really need this faster, I can host a personal website just for you by using the current platform, but you will have to cover the expenses. You will have admin rights to upload, edit and share your own worksheets just like in calcpad.eu.

We can also customize the look and contents. If you have your own design, I can quickly embed it.

That's a great offer! I know that there is a focus on the mathematics right now, which I think is also good to get some functionality like we have in matlab or ocatave.

I like the simple design and folder structure that we see on calcpad.eu. I think it will do fine.
