Agreed, more examples would be useful.

Additionally, better documentation in general would be nice to see, considering there are several entirely undocumented public methods

Don't have any in mind atm, just happened to notice some more-or-less entirely undocumented classes (which, therefor, have undocumented methods) when working on #579
