recommended by @farski from the Feeder/Publish parity spreadsheet:

If the user has a broken avatar image, their name shows up in the user control, and the page becomes too wide, which bangs up some page layouts (e.g. episodes)

BH: I'm not sure how to reproduce this. Might be fixed already.
