Settings resetting to default

If I want to play seated games for a while I set the option to not start with SteamVR in SteamVR application settings. The next time I want to play roomscale I set the option to start again.

When I start SteamVR after doing that I get the full window displayed of Turnsignal on my monitor. If I then set hide the main window all my settings for Turnsignal are reset to default. Turnsignal appears sometimes also as full window on my monitor and the only way to not have my settings reset is to close the task with task manager.
